Founded in 2021, MUU is a Utah Based non-profit Organization in Utah. Our mission is to assist in improving the well-being of our Latina Community by providing education, resources and basic needs
Belia Paz
Founder
Passionate community leader and advocate, Belia serves as the Utah State Director for the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC). With a commitment to empowering the Hispanic community, Belia has earned numerous accolades, including '30 Women to Watch' in 2022, '40 Over 40' award in 2023, and the Lifetime Achievement Award from Mujeres Unidas de Idaho in 2022.
In addition to her work with LULAC, Belia is the General Manager of Two Hispanic radio stations MI Preferida 104.7FM and La Ley 107.1FM in Salt Lake City. She is also the founder and president of s Mujeres Unidas de Utah, a nonprofit that supports Hispanic women through monthly events, workshops, and resources
Sara Robles
Vice-President
Sara Robles the Vice President of United Women of Utah, where she has been an active member of the board of directors. Through this role, she loves giving back to the community and empowering other women to achieve their goals. Sara's journey from immigrant to community leader exemplifies her resilience and commitment to making a difference.She is a dedicated real estate agent and television host, passionate about serving her community and helping families find their dream home in Utah. With a rich background as an immigrant who started very young, Sara has a unique perspective and deep empathy for her clients.Additionally, Sara has worked as a businesswoman in a company where she was very dedicated, and grew within it until she became a manager. He has faced adversity within the professional as well as personal area. Therefore, it fills her with satisfaction to see women succeed.She is married and the mother of five children, underscoring her ability to successfully balance professional and personal life.
Susy Lisi

Susy lisi: *Bolivian *Nurse, mother of 5 children *Member of the board of directors of United Women of Utah *Community leader *Co-founder of the El Chasqui foundation in Utah. *Passionate about doing humanitarian work, with the community throughout the year, with homeless people, abused women, Hispanic families, *Promote the recycling of plastic bags to make mats, for use by the community in need. *Active member of the food care coalition. *Member of the board of directors of the Latin American coalition. *Founder of the Bolivian Fest, Bolivian carnival. *Founder of the Bolivian Ladies. *Member of the board of directors of the Bolivian alliance. *Nominated for Ángel 32 by Univisión 2023 *Awarded as a community leader by the Conserving Art Foundation 2022,2023 *Member of the organizing committee of the first Latino town hall of the governor of Utah 2022. *Participating in different fashion shows for charitable purposes. My greatest quality is service to others.
Corina Lake
Treasurer
Corina Lake is a first generation Panamanian American, she is a dedicated member of the community who has always felt a profound connection to her Hispanic roots, which has greatly influenced her passion for serving others. As the Treasurer of Mujeres Unidas de Utah, a non profit organization that is dedicated to help women. Corina has made it her mission to support and uplift those around her, particularly women in need.Corina joined Mujere Unidas De Utah in 2023. In her role as Treasurer, Corina has spearheaded numerous fundraising initiatives and financial literacy programs to benefit the Hispanic community. However, her impact extends far beyond her official duties. Recognizing the pressing issue of domestic violence among women, Corina has emerged as a steadfast advocate for survivors, offering unwavering support and resources to help them rebuild their lives.Corina’s advocacy for women's rights is driven by her belief in equality and justice for all. She tirelessly champions causes that promote gender equality and empowers women to assert their voices and choices. Through her dedication and courage.
Monica E. Salazar

Attorney Monica E. Salazar was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, and she is of Mexican descent. Her parents immigrated to the United States from the state of Zacatecas, Mexico. Attorney Monica Salazar is proud of her roots. She truly understands the life experiences of immigrants and has dedicated her entire career to serving these populations within the United States. Attorney Monica Salazar has been practicing immigration law for nearly twenty years. She is from Los Angeles California and several office locations in the state of Idaho and Utah.
Monica Salazar earned a B.A. in History and Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She earned a J.D. from the University of California – Hastings College of Law. She is an active member of the Idaho State Bar and a member of the California State Bar. Monica Salazar is also a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
